About TGCM Bible College Welcome to TGCM Bible College Welcome to TGCM Bible College. We are so glad you stopped by our website to learn more about our programs. We are a traditional church-based Bible college providing quality Christian education using a 100% online moodle-type Course Web and through distance education. TGCM Bible College is a part of the International True Gospel Christian Ministry (TGCM) Organization and TGCM Church Worldwide™ whose mission and purpose is to train and develop well rounded individuals and to issue degrees that lead to ordination and service to our Lord as TGCM ministers, pastors, evangelists, missionaries, or other church-based service positions. TGCM Organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry. Our college degree programs are designed for adults who want an accelerated degree and for those who desire a traditional degree program in a Christian field. TGCM does not offer secular programs with science or arts designated degrees. Our Associates, Bachelors, and Masters are limited to faith-based study. Courses are current with the church and world of today and the textbooks we use are by known authors in the Christian publishing world. All classes are completed online or through the mail. There is no residency requirements. Our tuition rates make it affordable to complete a Christian faith-based degree. The instructors and advisors are here for you via email, Skype video meeting, Yahoo Instant Messenger or by calling the message line. They really care about your progress and success as a student. Accelerated Degree Programs TGCM Bible College uses both an adult accelerated format for each degree program and a traditional format. The Accelerated Degree Program allows individuals to use course materials and instruction sheets to learn a topic through both reference and exploration. Students rely mainly on their ability to research, process, and then present information they have learned or discovered. In the accelerated format, students who have already earned a degree or have attended college in the past and have enough credits are allowed to apply their credits or degrees and work in a self-paced environment to complete a degree from TGCM. The accelerated program is designed for the student's convenience allowing them to pay one fee which includes course semester hours, all textbooks and materials! Just complete your assignments and submit them! Complete your measurement portion at the end of each class and then, start a new class! As you finish a class you are automatically enrolled in your next class and your textbooks are shipped immediately. In no time, you can complete your program! Traditional Degree Programs The Traditional degree format requires three 16-weeks semesters each year. Degrees are completed in a standard time frame. This program is for students with little or no college or who do not have substantial Christian training and experience. Each class is instructor guided using Skype Meetings, Yahoo Messenger, Course Syllabus, Textbooks, and Course Assignment sheets. Current Textbooks and Resources TGCM uses current Christian texts from world famous authors such as Max Anders, John Piper and more. Texts are reviewed and updated to be current with today's Christian world. Many of the courses use Max Anders books as the main text. Why? Simple, its because Max Anders writes using a simple, clear, and easy to read format and his texts are written in 12 lesson format. Furthermore, Mr. Anders has a sound doctrine for his faith. The lessons are well planned in length and allow the student the maximum amount of knowledge on each subject without spending weeks reading just a few chapters. Research courses will include clear instructions for completing the assignments. Texts and a Scofield Study Bible provide the student with ample resources to complete their assignments! Frequent LIVE meetings on Skype video calls keep students connected with their instructors and advisors. TGCM uses a state of the art online Course web allowing students access to their assignments and lectures 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Mission At TGCM the student always is our main focus. TGCM Bible College is an open-admission, private religious-based college offering a high-quality, affordable faith-based religious education whose mission is to prepare individuals to enter the ministry as an Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ serving in the capacity or Pastor, Evangelist, or Missionary, or to enter a field closely related to the ministry, and to grow in the knowledge of our faith. Memberships TGCM Bible College is a member of the Minnesota Council for Non-Profits. Meet the Board & Faculty The Board of Directors is the official governing body of the TGCM Bible College The Board is composed of members who serve without pay. (Some board members also serve as faculty of the College). Since the college is 100% online with no traditional campus, the board meets at various locations annually to discuss the goals and plans for the college. The Board has final authority to determine and interpret the policies that govern the College. As part of their duties, the Directors come from all walks of life and various countries around the world. They maintain a faith-based lifestyle and are good ambassadors for Christ. The Board members represent an impressive mix of individual talents and professional backgrounds enabling them to provide governance of the highest quality. TGCM Bible College has volunteer Student Advisors and Instructors who serve the College from various locations worldwide. The college faculty is organized by duties or departments. Transferring Credits TGCM Bible college accepts transfer credits from other Bible colleges or accredited secular schools you have attended with a passing grade. Official transcripts are required to be considered for transfer credit. Because TGCM Bible College is a private faith-based exempt college, if you're planning on transferring schools or pursuing additional study at other nationally accredited schools, be aware that each school has its own transfer policy. Some schools may accept TGCM Bible College credits while others may not give full credit or may not accept your credits. National Accreditation While many Christian colleges prefer or select not to submit to the accreditation process, TGCM Bible College hopes to complete an application and begin the process for seeking National Accreditation sometime by the end of 2013. TGCM Bible College has been in a mandatory waiting period of two years and has been preparing for the accreditation process. As a goal, TGCM is working towards the goal of being accredited by a national accrediting agency by the end of 2014.
