Accreditation
TGCM Bible College is established and grants degrees legally in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota. The degree programs offered by TGCM Bible College were reviewed by the Minnesota Office of
Higher Education for its status as a private faith-based religious exempt
college.
Important Information About Accreditation:
Individuals seeking secular degrees for use in certification programs, transferring credits for higher levels of education, and professional employment should consider attending a college or university that is accredited by a nation accrediting agency that is recognized by the US Department of Education.
Bible Colleges and Christian Schools do not fall under the same need or requirement for this level of accreditation. Seeking such accreditation is voluntary. In accordance with accreditation process requirements, TGCM Bible College has been in a mandatory waiting period and has been preparing to gain this level of accreditation. TGCM hopes to complete an application to begin the process by the end of 2013.
Individuals seeking degrees online at religious schools should be aware that many Christian and faith-based schools advertise to be "approved" or "accredited" through agencies or groups that are not approved by the CHETA or the US Department of Education.
