Accelerated Program and Concentrations

What is the Goal of this Program:

The goal of the Accelerated Associates Program is students to gain knowledge and skills to perform their functions as ministers, church administrators, youth pastors, Bible Study coordinators, and in other related positions in the service of the church and in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Accelerated Degree Program allows individuals to use course materials and instruction sheets to learn a topic through both reference and exploration. It is self-paced with no required schedule.

Students rely mainly on their ability to research, process, and then present information they have learned or discovered. In the accelerated format, students who have already earned a degree or have attended college in the past and have earned enough credits, the Associates degree is 15 additional semester hours earned at TGCM Bible College.

The accelerated program is designed for the student's convenience allowing them to pay one fee which includes course semester hours, all textbooks and materials! Just complete your assignments and submit them! Complete your measurement portion at the end of each class and then, start a new class!

What Degree(s) and Concentrations are awarded:

TGCM Bible College offers an Associate’s Degree program with your choice of the following concentrations:

Christian Education

Theology

Pastoral Studies

Youth Ministry

Christian Ministry

Bible

Liberal Studies

The program is 5 courses (if the student transfers in at least 15 semester hours of college work). You will have a student advisor and an Instructor team assigned to you to assist you with your studies. Your degree plan will be customized to your concentration.

Program Objective:

Students will:

1. Have a solid overview of the ministry field.

2. Articulate their ministry in accord with a biblical prospective.

3. Demonstrate high morale character within the framework of service to God

How Long Does it Take to Finish the Degree:

TGCM Bible College gives allows for transfer credit from other colleges and universities into our Bible College programs. Most students can satisfy the degree requirements and receive their degrees in a reasonable amount of time based on how quickly they complete each course requirement. The student can progress and finish at their own pace.

Tuition:

The tuition for the Associates program is one fee of $1125.00 which includes the cost of the semester hours, textbooks, and fees.

Course Work

The Associates program is designed to help you develop understanding, thinking, spiritual disciplines, and leadership skills as they relate to the Word of God and the church.

Students desiring ordination must perform a LIVE service — a real-time presentation using our internet channel on Livestream.

Associates Program Requirements

Degree completion for an Associate’s program includes the following:

· At least 60 semester hours total.

· At least 15 semester hours must be awarded by the TGCM Bible College.

· At least 25 semester hours at the 200 level.

· No more than 18 semester hours in one field.

Associate degree courses may include the following: (Actual courses determined by your selected concentration
and will be listed on your personal degree plan you will receive at enrollment)

· Salvation

· Church Leadership and Bookkeeping

· The Apostles - Paul's Gospel

· Old Testament Studies and Prophets*

· New Testament Studies - Life of Jesus | The Holy Spirit

· Science and God

· Pastoral & Ministry Preparation*

· Marriage & Family*

· LIVE Broadcast (only required for those seeking ordination)

Assessment

All instructors grade based on individual projects, presentations, and written assignments. So that means no tests during the class! Just one assessment at the end.

Grading System and GPA: TGCM Bible College degree program uses the standard grading system / GPA calculations of A – F and P/F.

All programs are offered full distance without any resident requirement. TGCM Bible College's non-discrimination policy states that no student will be denied access based on race, color, national origin, former religion, age, disability, or marital status.

Privacy Policy
TGCM Bible College provides a confidentiality policy to students about privacy of the students' academic and personal record.

Graduation Policy
TGCM Bible College requires completion of all academic requirements prior to issuing a degree. The college will not graduate any student who fails to meet the academic requirements set for each degree program.

TGCM Bible College suggests that each student who plans to work for another church or organization contact them to verify that this program will meet their educational needs.
