TGCM Bible College
Graduation Ceremony
TGCM Bible College wants every student to have the experience of attending graduation ceremonies and offers students a formal graduation ceremony which gives them the opportunity to be formally recognized for their accomplishments.
Each year, if enough students graduate or
express their wish to have a formal graduation ceremony, one is held in the
city of Woodbury Minnesota at Central Park at the Amphitheater in Woodbury.
The next ceremony event is planned for summer or fall of 2011. Central park
is a beautiful complex and Woodbury is a friendly and modern suburb of St. Paul.
Students pay a graduation fee and must purchase tickets in advance for each person who will attend the event. (Children under 12 do not require a ticket.)
There is a guest speaker Dr. Patience Turtoe-Sanders (TV Evangelist and Christian author) and graduating students are given the opportunity to make a brief testimony of their journey with God.
The program includes the traditional walk
across the stage and the issuing of ceremony certificates or degrees sealed
with ribbon and the gold seal of the college to graduates.
There is opportunity for picture taking before and after the ceremony and before the banquet. The facility has an indoor waterfall and pond with great landscape.
Caps & gowns are provided by the college for use at the ceremony. Students may keep their cap and gown after the ceremony to commemorate their accomplishment and recognition.
A complete Dinner is provided after the graduation ceremony in the Banquet room. A Conference is held the next day for Graduates and their families to discuss the ministry and their future plans.
Hotel Accommodations Students and their guests make reservations at Country Inn near where the ceremony is held.
Airports and Transportation: The two main terminals are Minneapolis (MSP) and Humphrey Terminal. Taxi service and shuttles are available from the airport to Woodbury. (Woodbury is approximately 20 minutes from the airport by car.)
We Want to Hear From YOU! Contact Student Services at studentservices@tgcm.org or the Admissions Office at admissions@tgcm.org to add your name to the list requesting a ceremony.
